A cool start to the morning had us wondering if we were really in November. However, the day warmed nicely after a light picnic breakfast at Doug Jennings Park. We walked the length of the Spit to Surfers Paradise, across Chevron Island, over the HOTA Green Bridge and on to the colourful HOTA building, where we spent time browsing the current exhibits before catching a ferry back to Seaworld on the Spit. From there it was another few kilometres to walk back to our cars. |
