It has been a while since we last hiked to White Rock, so we headed there again on a lovely, sunny winter's day. The entry to the conservation site is the Paperbark Flats Picnic Area, at the end of School Road in Redbank Plains. The hike is reasonably easy, though some narrow climbing sections of the trail require some serious scrambling. All in all, a very scenic walk

Perfect weather means a perfect day for a beach walk and so we headed for Main Beach this week to tackle the Queen's Jubilee Walk.
We didn't complete the full 30 kilometre walk, but walked as far as Broadbeach, where we stopped for lunch. We will tackle another section on another day.
Although the wet weather didn't eventuate, we were well pleased with our choice of destination. Nothing like a feast of art to feed the soul.
