Townsville - July/August 2020
After a few weeks in Proserpine we looked forward to a leisurely stay in Townsville. It is always lovely to catch up with family and friends, but we are always delighted with new discoveries despite having lived there for many years. We stayed in Palmer Street overlooking the river, and it was lovely to wake up each morning to such a pleasant view.
We easily filled our days with long walks, good food, family and friends, and so much more.
Early morning walks . . .
Outdoor art . . .

Food, glorious food . . .
Catching up with the past . . .
Spending time with relations . . .
And of course, a highlight of the trip was a day down the creek with Murray and Bree. It was great to see this place that is so close to Murray’s heart, the place he loves to spend time fishing and crabbing and camping, and the source of so many of our delicious meals.
