Only three of us this week set off to explore west of Brisbane. The Meaning to Stop Cafe in the Locker Valley was a welcome stop for morning tea. We have been 'meaning to stop' for years, and so glad we finally did. |
After lunch we headed up to Cunningham's Crest Lookout, just six kilometres out of town, situated on the knoll where explorer Allan Cunningham and his party crossed in 1829. The lookout features murals, poetry, sculptures and mosaics that celebrate the European and Aboriginal history of the site, as well as providing panoramic views of the township, plains, and mountains. |
