Part way along our hike we came upon Fairy Way, a magical spot in a shaded, cool area full of surprises such as fairy doors, fairy houses, painted rocks and spotted stepping stones. MORETON BAY COMMUNITY ROCKS hides rocks for kids and adults to find but ask that you only take a few and rehide the rest so others can enjoy the fun too. We were delighted to see how lovingly the area is cared for and the joy it brought to the children and adults passing through. Our return walk was 11 kilometres in all, but the track went further and we look forward to exploring more of it in the future. We began with morning tea and ended with a picnic lunch by the bay, so we fulfilled all parts of our group name.
